1. Why should I register with Txt4Info?
   Txt4Info is the quick, convenient and inexpensive way to request information, samples and coupons by txting from your mobile phone. Some offers and information are available without registering. However, to simplify the process and ensure you can take advantage of all offers, you should register with Txt4Info.
2. Who is responsible for sending me the information I request?
   If the information is to be sent by email, then Txt4Info is responsible. If the information will be sent to you by mail then, in general, the advertiser will be responsible. Further details on each request you make are available in your order history, along with the advertiser’s contact details.
3. How long should it take to receive the information I request?
   If the information is sent by email, it should arrive within 15 minutes. If the information is sent by mail then it should arrive within 2-3 weeks.
4. What should I do if the information does not arrive?
   First you should check your order history at the Your Details section of the website to make sure the correct email or postal address was used. If the information was to be sent by mail, you can contact the advertiser for that specific offer. Their contact details are available along with further details on the offer.
5. How do I know if my order/request has been processed?
   You can see your order history, including all requests and their status at the Your Details section of this website.
6. Why do you need to know my personal details?
   We only ask for the details required to deliver information, samples or coupons that you request. This is the same information a call centre would need to know if you rang an 0800 number. The difference is that it’s a lot quicker and more convenient to request information with Txt4Info!
7. Are my details passed on to advertisers?
   We pass your details on to advertisers depending on the information you request and how delivery of that information will be fulfilled. For instance when you request a free sample, your postal details will be passed to the advertiser as part of the fulfilment process. We do not pass on year of birth or gender. With Txt4Info, you remain in control of your information and can unsubscribe at any time.
8. Why do you ask questions about age/gender?
   Many advertisers like to know statistics of the people responding to their advertising. We do not provide any information at an individual level but we do provide summary statistics.
9. If I provide my email address to Txt4Info, will I start receiving emails from Txt4Info advertisers?
   When you request information from Txt4Info you may receive the following:
   • An initial information email
   • A follow-up email within a couple of weeks (depending on the type of offer)
      
   Advertisers cannot send you further emails using data that you’ve provided to Txt4Info unless you explicitly agree to opt in to their communications. This condition is part of the agreement advertisers must sign with Txt4Info before using the service.
   
   However, in the initial information they send to you, an advertiser may ask you to register for ongoing information from them. For instance, they may ask if you want to receive catalogues, newsletters, etc. In this case you would need to complete a separate subscription form and normal privacy and permission rules would apply between you and the advertiser.
   
   If you feel that you have received communications from an advertiser as a result of requesting information via Txt4Info – yet you have not given your permission to receive these communications – then please contact us and complain. We’ll follow up with the advertiser.

    The cost depends on the offer. Normally it will be 20c or 50c to send us a txt message. Advertisers must display the cost for you to txt within the advertisement.

12. How do I update my details?
    Go to the Your Details section of the site. You will need to login to access your details and order history. Once you have logged in you can update all your information.
13. How do I remove my personal information from Txt4Info?
    You’ll find an ‘Unsubscribe’ button in the Your Details section of the website.
14. What happens if I change my mobile number?
    You’ll need to contact us and let us know. Alternatively you can unsubscribe and resubscribe with your new mobile number.
15. Can I have a joint registration with my partner or family?
    No. Txt4Info stores information about individuals. However you can request information on their behalf by using your mobile phone.
16. If I don’t have an email address, can I use Txt4Info?
    Yes. But only for offers sent by mail.
